Add DNS Domain

To add a new domain to the DNS service you can login to your dashboard area Select Tools option on the left hand side Navigation bar. Select DNS option to go to DNS page. You can also access this page by clicking on the following link https://www.psychz.net/dashboard/client/web/dns/domains

• Step 1: Select a DNS Device
• Step 2: Select Domain
• Step 3: Select DNS Type
• Third-Party Name Servers
  

Follow the steps below to configure DNS on your device.

Step 1: Select a DNS Device

Use the dropdown menu to select the device you wish to use for the domain name. The device that you choose will be used for billing purposes.

Click Next to proceed further.

Step 2: Select Domain

Here you need to choose the domain name of your origin server from the dropdown menu. The domain details will be synced across all our global network.

Note: You can add a new domain name by choosing Add functionality.

Click Next to proceed further.

Step 3: Select DNS Type

Select the DNS type you wish to associate with your Domain. Here you have two options.

1) Use Psychz's Name Server

You can use this option if you wish to use Psych's Name Servers. You can see two Name Server details on the screen, which you need to copy and update at your domain registrar.

Third-Party Name Servers

If you like to use third party Name Servers, you can add the same using this option. Add the details of Name Server in the text are. Use the '+' button to add more Name Servers.

Note: DNS updates can take up to 24 hours to reflect globally.

2) Register Private Name Servers

Using this option, you can provide the private Name Servers you wish to associate with your device. This can be done by updating the IP addresses shown on the screen against the Name Servers at your domain registrar. Once the IP addresses are registered (on your Domain registrar page), please update the Name Server fields on the Update DNS page.

Third-Party Name Servers

If you like to use third party Name Servers, you can add the same using this option. Add the details of Name Server in the text are. Use the '+' button to add more Name Servers.

Click Finish to complete the process.
