sBlock - Create

Publisher: Psychz Networks,  March 28,2024

  • Create sBlock
  • sBlock Confirmation

Step-by-step guide to creating a sBlock Storage system using the client dashboard:

Sign In to the Client Dashboard

Access the Client Dashboard by clicking on the following https://www.psychz.net/dashboard/client/web/site/login

Create Block Storage

Go to sBlock under the storage menu item to access the dedicated page for creating Block Storage. Click on the Create button.

  • For Storage Type, choose Block Storage from the dropdown menu.
  • Select Device ID from the list. The list shows all storage devices assigned to your account. These devices can be subscribed/ordered from 'Order Service'. Select the appropriate device.
Sample device details
Location: Los Angeles, CA (US West)
Type: Standard/Premium
Storage Size: 10 GB - 4 TB
  • Assign a ‘Device Name’ that you prefer for the new device.
    • The name should indicate what the block is being used for. E.g. transaction_logs_storage
    • Avoid using complex abbreviations
    • No usage of special characters
    • If you have different versions of the same block storage, include the version

Initiate Creation

Select ‘Create’ to commence the creation of the device. You will be notified upon successful creation, along with instructions for the next steps in your setup.

IMPORTANT: Once the block storage is successfully created, the system will show access information, which you must copy and secure for future use.
