    Add URLs to Prefetch function

    Publisher: Psychz Networks March 24,2021

Our system will prefetch the files from the URLs you add under this feature and populate the cache with the desired content the user might access in the near future.

The following article focuses on the Prefetch feature under CDN Cache. You can follow the below path to access the Prefetch URLs page.

    Dashboard > CDN > Domains > Your_Domain > Performance > Cache > Domain_Name > Cache Prefetch

The prefetch feature allows you to upload specified URLs or a bunch of URLs (by uploading CSV files) to other nodes on the CDN network in advance. When clients reaccess an associated website, the nearest node returns the requested content to the clients without retrieving the origin server's content.

To add the URLs, click on the 'Add' button on the page's top right-hand side. This should give you the following options.

    Select Option

    • Input - This allows you to enter a single URL at a time
e.g. www.yourdomainname.com [Without http or https]
    • Upload CSV file - This allows you to upload a CSV file that can hold multiple URLs at once

Click 'Add' to complete the process.
