    Create Cache Path

    Publisher: Psychz Networks January 30,2018

The CDN Cache is the frequently accessed data stored on the CDN nodes so that the data is not fetched from the main server each time a user requests the data. In this article, we will discuss the Cache Path feature of CDN cache. You can set the path of the location you want to make it available in the form of cache on all the CDN Nodes. All you have to do is select the Cache Path option and click on the "Add" button. Once you click on the "Add" button a pop-up menu will be displayed with the following options.

You can follow the below path to access CDN Path Page

CDN Main Page > Manage Domain > Cache > Path

    Following are the options

Location - Please select the location of the data that you want to be cached and made available on all the CDN nodes.

Extension -You can specify the type of files that you would like to be cached by specifying the file extensions.
Note: This field is optional. If you do not specify the extension all the files will be cached.

Query String - As you may know string query is a field in the URL of the website. If you turn this option on, the CDN will cache the string queries for the users to access. However, this is not a recommended action as the string query contains sensitive information and should not be cached.

Stale Content - The stale content is the content that has outdated its TTL(Time To Live) value in the cache. If you turn on the stale content option, the CDN will server you the required file even if the main server is offline or unresponsive.

TTL - The TTL or Time To Live value is the duration you want the cache to store files. You can set the value by Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months and Years.

Period - You can specify the duration (mentioned in TTL) in Second/Minutes/Hours/Days/Weeks/Months/Years.
