How many concurrent users can i have on the server?  Would port speed play a role when it comes to concurrent users?  What about CPU/RAM?

There is no such restriction when it comes to having concurrent users on your server. However, port speed plays a vital role. The users that are concurrent on your server use a part of your port speed. As the number of users increases, the port speed keeps getting utilized. You have to make sure that your avail port speed according to your user base, otherwise the server will start facing latency. Also, when lots of users are concurrent on a server, the server goes through high processing. Please make sure that you have sufficient RAM and a high performance CPU that can take that amount of load.
