Create CDN Sub Domains

Publisher: Psychz Networks,  November 28,2017

In the case of Content Delivery Network, subdomains can be created for the main domain and the content can be distributed as per relevance. The CDN servers are distributed over a wide range of network so that the content can be delivered across multiple regions effectively and swiftly. If the content is also divided into subdomains, the users aiming for a particular section of the domain will visit the subdomain pertaining to it.

You can follow the below path to access the Subdomain page.

CDN Main Page > Manage Domain > Basic Settings > Sub-Domains

Step 1: Click on the Add button to add a Sub-domain

Step 2: Select Proxy Protocol (HTTP/HTTPS)
The proxy protocol is an internet protocol used to carry connection information from the source requesting the connection to the destination for which the connection was requested. You can choose between HTTP and HTTPS depending on your requirement.

Step 3: Add Sub-domain address (URL) in the address bar. Please add the domain without HTTP, HTTPS. or WWW

Step 4: Select Domain from the dropdown menu that you would like the sub domain associate with.

Step 5: Provide Port number that you want to assign to the parked domain

Step 6: IP Address or CNAME You can choose to add the IP address or CNAME of your park domain in the text area.

Click on the Add button to save your settings.
