Yes, our systems are highly capable of handling an attack size of 100 Gbps or more. And with the help of anycast DDOS systems we direct the bad traffic to multiple locations for scrubbing thus handling much larger attacks size up to 500 Gbps. Our scrubbers are highly effective in identifying suspicious pattern on IP level and drops any unwanted traffic and only allows clean traffic to pass through the network. Once the attacks reach our network, we apply Access Control List Rules ( ACLs) blocking traffic at the edge of our network. Second stage of mitigation involves inspecting and analyzing each packet ensuring no malicious, service disrupting traffic makes it through to our clients.

In most of the cases, the attacks are mitigated within a few minutes after they hit our network and reach your server. However, some of the attacks are highly complex and it takes a while to deal with such attacks. In such cases limits are applied on the destination IP. The limits are only applicable to services or IPs when the attack size is larger than your DDoS subscription. For example, if you purchase a DDoS subscription of 100gbps and the attack size exceeds 100gbps, then your IP will be nulled. The nulling is only temporary and your IP will be un-nulled once the attack dies out.
