How does your DDoS filtering work?  Is it software or hardware based filtering? Do you null the IP when the DDoS attack is big?  what is the maximum protection you can guys filter?

Thanks for showing interest in our services!

We deploy both hardware and software based filtering to ensure foolproof protection from DDoS attacks. Once the attacks reach our network, we apply Access Control List Rules ( ACLs) blocking traffic at the edge of our network. We undergo initial scrubbing at our core router itself.

The second stage of mitigation involves inspecting and analyzing each packet ensuring no malicious, service disrupting traffic makes it through to our clients. Then the traffic undergoes Layer 3,4 and 7 scrubbing on the basis of the type of traffic. One last final scrubbing is performed by our system before the traffic reaches your server.

Please refer to the below link for more information on our DDoS mitigation techniques.

We do not null your IP in the event of a DDoS attack until it does not exceed the protection level you avail from us. Hence, we recommend you to avail the level of DDoS protection specific to your requirement. For instance, if you are facing an attack of 15 Gbps on regular basis, we recommend you to avail DDoS protection up to 20 Gbps. By default, we provide free DDoS mitigation of 2Gbps for our dedicated clients which can be upgraded up to 500 Gbps. We recommend you to get a quote from our team regarding prices and specifications.
