  • How many servers can fit in a rack?

I was looking at https://www.psychz.net/colocation.html but cant find info on number of servers.  For your full cabinet option, how many servers can fit in a rack?  Do the same rules apply for all locations?

Cabinets are an excellent colocation option for your business if your overall requirement is not too big and you want something that can be deployed in a matter of days.  A typical cabinet configuration includes 42U with adjustable-depth rails. U" stands for a "unit" of vertical rack space that's approximately 1.75 vertical inches. Typical stand design is 75 to 80 inches tall (depending on the manufacturer) which means it can hold 42 1U devices. Similarly, it can hold 21 2U-sized devices.

Each of the racks has a standard Copper and Fiber connections deployed and a power supply of 20Amps/120V.  Depending on your specific power requirements, we offer a variety of circuit capacities at different data center locations: 20A/120V | 30A/120V | 20A/208V | 30A/208V

At all our Data Centers we deploy a 20A/120V circuit, that's 2400watts of pure power.  However, 80% of the power is usable and the rest 20% is a reserve. For example, a 20A/120V circuit provides 16A of usable power. This is a standard procedure across all our data centers located in 5 different continents.
