Are there any anti DDoS tools or steps i can take to stop a DDoS attack on Linux OS?

Yes, there are a variety of tools available for mitigating DDoS attacks on Linux OS.

1. Monitoring network traffic - The first step should be to monitor the network traffic constantly. Any irregularity in the data traffic should be taken notice of immediately. 

2. Identifying the type of attack - The next step should be to identify the type of attack. It could be a SYN flood, or HTTP flood or other types of attack. Also, what you should be able to identify is the level of attack incident on your server. Relevant steps should be taken in accordance with the type and level of attack.

3. Mitigating the attack - Various methods can be employed for mitigating DDoS attacks. From setting up firewall to data scrubbing to advanced tools, these methods can be employed according to the level and type of attacks you encounter on a daily basis.
