Which dedicated server do you recommend for streaming?

For streaming, the type of port you choose is really important. If the content is already converted to the streaming format, the port will play the most important role.
Choosing the right port speed will define the number of concurrent users that will connect to the server at a given point of time.

At Psychz Networks, we offer 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps, and 10 Gbps ports. You can choose any of these ports depending on your requirement and budget. You can also upgrade at any point to serve your customers better. Switching from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps is fairly easy to do.  However, 10 Gbps port will require us to make some hardware changes.  If you are not sure about the number of users, you can begin with 100 Mbps and upgrade to 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps if needed.  If you plan to stream and convert content to streaming format on the same server, you will need to look into a server with a lot of cores and CPU's.  We do offer both single and dual CPU options.

In case, the budget is your biggest concern, we recommend that you email us sales@psychz.net and provide us more details on the budget, server requirements and we will do our best to suggest a package for you.
