I would like to setup virtualized environment on the server and would like to know the hardware requirements to run a a stable system.   Need to make sure the data is safe and offers good performance.

At Psychz Networks, we offer top quality infrastructure along with great support. As per your requirement, we would like to give you more information to make you aware of the hardware/service options available.
You need to understand that the hardware requirements for a virtualization server depend entirely on how many virtual machines you will be running on the server and the system requirements of each one.

Go for a CPU with a larger number of Cores will give much better performance compared to ones that have higher speed but a low number of cores.

CPU:  E5-1650 V4 | 6 cores.
Memory: 64 GB
Storage: 2 x 512 GB SSD (For better read/write performance)
With all servers, you get 1Gbps port uplink which can be upgraded to 10Gbps for better performance.

Virtual machines reside in memory, so more memory will support additional consolidation. More memory would simply waste money, while less memory will compromise performance. If each workload uses an average of 2 GB, the server would need at least 64 GB of RAM.

Please go through our live inventory to choose the required hardware along with the location of your choice https://www.psychz.net/dashboard/client/web/order/dedicated-server?processor=&processorBaseFreq=&numberOfCpu=7391&cpuCores=&location=
