Hi,

On-Premise Mitigation

This type of protection is triggered when there is a spike of attacks that exceed a safety net put in place by our scrubbers. When traffic is being mitigated over to our L7 hardware all packets are scrubbed/analyzed before being routed to your server, this type of protection is great for none critical applications. However, applications such Minecraft servers, and Camfrog might experience problems when small burst attacks are inbound that don't trigger the scrubbers.

Psychz Mitigation

This type of protection can be enabled via the client portal "DDOS Mitigation", and choosing permanent diversion. The benefits of this protection are that all traffic is sent to the L7 hardware for analyzing, cleaning 24/7/365 without having to wait for the scrubbers to route traffic to the L7 hardware. This type of protection will minimize leaks by 60 percent; however I recommend all customers that purchase our protection to mention to sales what kind of server you will be hosting, so we can make ACL rules for your applications.
