cVirtual Images

Publisher: Psychz Networks,  July 04,2025

A cVirtual Image serves as a ready-to-use template that includes the operating system and, pre-installed software or custom configurations.

This feature is designed to streamline the process of provisioning new cVirtual machines by allowing users to deploy servers quickly and consistently using predefined images. Whether it’s a standard OS like Ubuntu 22.04 or a custom image built with your preferred software stack, cVirtual Image helps you get up and running in no time.

This feature is ideal for developers, system admins, and businesses looking to scale efficiently where cVirtual Image brings speed, flexibility, and convenience to your virtual infrastructure.

Accessing the Service Module

You can view your active services using either of the following methods:

  • Manage Service Button: On the Virtual Images page, click the Manage Service button to access the management interface.

  • Direct Link: Service Dashboard

  • Navigation: Service/Devices > Services (from the left-hand sidebar)

Service Overview

Once you're on the Services page, locate the service titled "cVirtual – Image Snapshots" under the list of active services. To explore further details, click on the magnifying glass icon next to this service entry.

1. Details

The Details tab provides a quick summary of your cVirtual Image service, including:

  • Service Information

  • Quantity (number of cVirtual images in use)

  • Total Monthly Cost

This section helps you stay on top of your resource usage and subscription scale.

2. Billing

The Billing tab displays all billing-related details tied to your cVirtual Image service:

  • General (Status | Billing Period)

  • Service Dates (Start Date | Last Renewal | Next Renewal)

  • Billing (Billed in Advance | Auto Charge)

  • Invoices (Invoice Status | Unpaid Balance | Outstanding Invoices)

Use this tab to stay informed about your billing cycle and manage payments effectively.

3. Service Cancellation

You may choose to cancel your cVirtual Image service directly from this section.

Important: Cancelling the service will delete all existing images permanently. Cancellation cannot proceed if any of your images are in one of the following states: 'In-progress', 'Saving', 'Pending'.

In such cases, you’ll receive a message prompting you to retry later or contact our Support Team for assistance.

Smart Automation & Real-Time Billing

When a cVirtual Image is created for the first time, the system automatically generates a service linked to that image. Every subsequent create or delete action updates the service in real-time, ensuring your resources are always tracked accurately.

Our system monitors these changes and calculates billing based on actual usage, with hourly tracking to give you full control and transparency. You are billed at a flat rate of $0.10 per GB per month, prorated by the hour. This ensures you only pay for what you use, when you use it, no hidden costs or overages.

With cVirtual Image, you're not just deploying VMs, you're getting a fully automated, usage-based experience designed for scalability and cost-efficiency.
