    cVirtual OS Installation

    Publisher: Psychz Networks September 26,2024

The OS Installation feature allows users to reload a virtual machine (VM) with a fresh operating system. This feature is commonly used for switching OS platforms, fixing system issues, or starting fresh with a clean OS environment.

    Operating System

    • Select the new OS from a dropdown menu.
    • Choose from pre-configured images (e.g., Linux or Windows versions).

    Password

    • Set a new password for the admin account (root for Linux, Administrator for Windows).
    • Use a strong password to secure the VM.

    Confirm Password

    • Re-enter the password to confirm it matches.
    • This ensures accuracy and prevents typos.

IMPORTANT: OS Installation feature is not available when your virtual machine is in rescue mode. Please exit rescue mode before you proceed with fresh OS Installation.
