Is there a way capture packets on Centos 7 install?  I want to see what kind of inbound/outbound traffic is going through my server.  it would be nice to see the services too that are linked to it.

TCPdump is a powerful command-line packet analyzer tool which can be used to capture or filter TCP/IP packets that received or transferred over a network on a specific interface, and these packets can also be saved to a file. Once you capture these packets you can analyze them using TCPdump command. TCPdump command becomes very handy when it comes to troubleshooting on the network level.

The following tutorial will guide you on how to install TCPdump on your CentOS 7. The tutorial also covers how to use TCPdump to understand the kind of traffic coming in and going out of your server. Please follow the link https://www.psychz.net/client/question/en/how-to-read-tcpdump-output.html
