I believe this is true. I too, had someone from your network, tried to gain access to my vDSL modem, here in Mexico (service: TELMEX).

Here's the log:

May 23 03:59:14 LOGIN User superman tried to login on [HTTP] (from 172.106.9.184)

The old version of the modem I have, had a hidden username:password of superman:superman (kind of dumb).

Unfortunately for this moron, this is the new version of it, plus I changed the passwords for all the users, even for the technicians remote access.

The IP matches your company. Please check your logs and kindly slap in the face this dork.

Note: Date is correct. Time is CST with no DST.
